Building a focused MSRA preparation plan
A useful MSRA preparation plan is specific about the skills being practised, the evidence used to check progress, and the time available before the assessment.
Start with a realistic baseline
Use a short, timed sample to identify whether timing, clinical knowledge, professional judgement, or question interpretation is the current constraint. Record the result as a starting point rather than a prediction.
- Practise questions in conditions that match the time pressure you are preparing for.
- Review the reason for every missed question before simply doing more questions.
- Revisit weak themes at planned intervals so that improvement can be checked.
